The Eagles after having won the Super Bowl during the 2024 season regressed during this past season primarily due to their offense taking a big step backwards after losing offensive coordinator Kellen Moore to a head coaching job. Moore was replaced by a now fired rookie in the role, and the offense went from one of the best in the NFL to being an average to a mediocre unit by any stretch. Heading into next season they have hired another rookie offensive coordinator and are trying to recreate the magic they had on offense during the 2024 season. However, the personnel that the Eagles have on offense will also loom large heading into next season for the team as well. Here I will do a detailed assessment of Philadelphia’s offensive line heading into the 2026 season.
Set to start at the left tackle spot is standout Jordan Mailata who is arguably among the best overall left tackles in the game today. Malaita has graded as a top three overall tackle taking starter snaps on three separate occasions according to Pro Football Focus, while consistently grading well above average outside of that as well.
Landon Dickerson is set to start at left guard for the team and is a strong but flawed player. Dickerson consistently grades as one of the better run blocking guards in the sport today while struggling as a pass protector, however. Dickerson has however shown the ability to not just be good but great in terms of pass protection. In five seasons in the NFL Dickerson has graded in the below average to well below average range in terms of pass blocking efficiency on four occasions. However, in the remaining instance he graded as one of the premier pass protectors at guard thus showing his ability. Dickerson has also graded in the above average to borderline elite range as an overall player according to Pro Football Focus in every season he has played thus far.
2022 2nd rounder Cam Jurgens is set to start at center and is a talented but inconsistent player at the position. Jurgens is capable as both a pass protector and as a run blocker, Jurgens has shown his inconsistencies as a pass protector thus far in his career but ranked in the top six among all qualified centers in terms of pass blocking efficiency during the 2025 season. Jurgens is consistently above average as a run blocker as well.
2023 3rd rounder Tyler Steen is set to start at right guard for the Eagles and had a very strong first season starting during the 2025 season. Steen ranked (18/87) in terms of an overall offense grade among players at his position according to Pro Football Focus while showing proficiency as a run blocker although struggling in pass protection. Perhaps Steen can take the next step in his second year as starter in 2026 towards becoming a truly elite player at the position.
Former first round pick Lane Johnson is set to start at right tackle for the Eagles and is a borderline elite to an elite player at the position. Johnson, a three time second team All-Pro and a two-time first team All-Pro, mulled retirement this offseason but ultimately decided to return to the team. Johnson is aging however, struggled with his health this past season, and showed some signs of declining this past season as well.
From a depth standpoint in the offensive front the Eagles lack depth in totality although they have a few guys who could step in and hold the fort down in the case of injury. The Eagles drafted tackle Markel Bell in the 3rd round of the 2026 draft, tackle Fred Johnson has shown some promise over the years, while interior offensive lineman Drew Kendall and tackle Cameron Williams both showed some potential as rookies.
The Eagles are in the discussion for having maybe the premier starting offensive front in the sport heading into the 2026 season although they have some question marks up front and they lack strong depth. A breakdown of the Eagles’ offensive line can be found below.
